I’m Isobelle, a writer from Northern Virginia. I’ve been reading and writing for as long as I can remember. However, it wasn’t until I crossed in that magical world known as my 30’s that I shook off the last vestiges of fear and dove head first into my writing career. I started writing in September 2018 and fell in love. I hope you enjoy my stories because I pour a piece of myself into every page. I started this journey as a passion project, and to prove myself right.. Everyone deserves to live out there dreams.
When not writing I’m also a fan of cooking, musical theatre and spoiling my dog. I love reverse harem, dark paranormal, urban fantasy and fantasy. I listen to my muse and write what she gives me. My fondest wish is to write for all sorts of different people. I want to be very inclusive in my writing because I feel like there’s a place for that. I think that everybody should be able to pick up a book and find somebody they identify with. I want to write characters that are real, even if they’re in a fantastical world. Which means, touching on subjects that might be disturbing to some, but is a way of life to others. Life isn’t all rainbows and lollipops. We have to go through a storm once in a while. That’s what makes the reward sweeter!
Paranormal Reverse Harem
I had a cancer scare that really woke me up. I was tired of letting fear run my life, and when I found RH, I found a genre that resonated with me. After getting the all clear my my gynecologist, I took some time for myself. When I was ready I made myself a goal, write a book. It wasn’t about publishing then, it was about words on a page. I got some great encouragement from some pretty amazing people and it spurred me on. So I kept going, and now I have these crazy plans for books, and characters that shout at me at 2:30 in the morning because they’re ready for their stories to be written.
It’s that small hope that someone will read my book and get that same feeling I do when I read others words. That desire to stay up until 2am because you just need to read one more chapter. I love that feeling so much! I also really enjoy the women I’ve met, they’re so inspiring, and I’ve found a tribe of ladies I can all my besties! I see you 4 pages ladies! I also have a ride or die who picks me up when I’m losing it in Jade Oliver!! I’m very blessed to have met such amazing people.
Editing sucks balls. It’s the worst thing ever and I despise it with a fiery passion. But good friends, wine, and a fantastic editor make the process suck a bit less. But it still fucking sucks!
Do it!! Just do it! Now if you can write an outline because I pansted the shit out of my book and it was a bit of a mess to untangle. Pansted is a fancy writers term meaning I wrote my book by the seat of my pants, or in my case leggings. That was really fun I might have drunk a bottle of wine and cried… Anyway read books on writing BEFORE you start because it will help, join a group of like minded writers who will be your ride or die. You will rely on those people more than you know in the coming months. Ask for help! Surround yourself with good people and drop anyone who won’t support you. Don’t forget to take time for yourself that doesn’t involve your book it’s easy to get obsessed but keep reading. Don’t compare, everyone’s success is different. Some of your friends are going to go #1 and you might be #170,123 but that’s ok! Did you write a book and publish? Then you’ve done something few people can claim so own that shit!
No because I have 1 writen and 45,000 others that are begging for their turn. But, Blood Moon Magic will always be special because it was my first.
For writing? A basic outline, and characters chart. I like to know the end so that even if I pants the whole thing I know where to make it lead. I also let my characters talk to me, when you’re writing sometimes they really do take you on a journey.

A.C. Wilds, CM Wright, and Aspen Marks.
These ladies are my tribe but also bad ass bitches. We all write differently, but the love is real.
CM is across the pond but always there when we need her. She’s always there with a kind word even as she rocks out as a mom and a writer.
AC is a A SAHM and a machine I swear she writes in her sleep, and Aspen..she’s a mom, a writer AND works full time. I dunno I think she has coffee in her veins.
Beyond being amazing woman, they are all fantastic writers so…check them out!
Heart of Andros by Jade Oliver, The Summit by Katie Knight, Storkes by Bea Page…among others. I like to read several books at once.
Elizabeth and Her Dragons by Ava Mason. This chick is the queen of smut and also an awesome person. I binged her books so hard I had to reread them to see what I missed. I also love Curse of the Gods, and Her Elemental Dragons
